"Ingenuo" is a piece that represents Pixinguinha’s maturity. It is a deeply inspired choro-canção, melancholy and tranquil in character, written in a 2/4 time signature. As a clarinetist, I have had the pleasure of performing 'Ingenuo' several times and in various contexts.
