The Sergey Taneyev Canzona for clarinet and string orchestra is a beautiful —and unfortunately little-known— work that I had the pleasure of performing in March 2022. Originally, I was scheduled to perform as a guest soloist with the National Congress Chamber Orchestra (Argentina) in 2020, but the pandemic forced the suspension of the season.
