In the words of composer Leonora Arbiser:
El sueño de las flores" (The Dream of the Flowers) is a suite in three movements for clarinet and piano inspired by a poetic image connecting the contemplative with the subtlety and depth of the dream world - in this case, what flowers dream about... Regarding its style or musical language, I would say it is somewhat melancholic, and I chose sonic material that responds to a well-defined palette of colors.
